It's April Fool's Day, but whichever way you look at it, joking that you're COVID-19 positive could never end well.
Case in point, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto is not amused by the very thought.
Sotto replied to a tweet that reminded everyone that pranking you're positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) will never be a good joke.

"Ang mag-April Fools joke tungkol sa covid, ipapasok sa isolation facility ng 14 days," the mayor said.
He made sure to tweet it a day before April Fool's so who knows if he's serious?
His tweet amused netizens and has garnered nearly 40,000 likes and 11,000 retweets.
The Philippines currently follows COVID-19 quarantine protocols set by the World Health Organization that indicate a 14-day isolation period.
